  • It's been 1,325 days since I joined Xanga.

Hey, I realized that I kinda left things off on a bad note.  Here's a bit of an update.

My dad is still out of work, but he had surgery and is getting better.

My mom WAS laid off, but someone retired at united way and they loved her so much that they brought her back.

I got a promotion at work, which is nice.  but I have to wake up at four am every day, and while getting home earlier is nice, I don't even feel human anymore.  I don't go out, I'm always annoyed at my parents for no reason other than the fact that I'm tired and cranky, and I go to bed at EIGHT.  Ugh, there will be plenty of time to watch jeopardy and go to bed early when I'm FREAKING OLD.

ha.  I spent a huge amount of money on front brakes. but I just got paid again, which means at least another TWLOHA shirt.  whoo.  a great thing to wear right before I dont go out.

  • Wheres your customer service dept? I'd like to lodge a complaint.

alright.  enough complaining.  so I'm just gonna state some facts of my life at this point.  both of you can skip to the bottom if you want.

My Dad is out of work for two and a half months.  His ladder collapsed at work and trapped his leg, causing him to tear pretty much every ligament in his leg.  His ACL, MCL, you name it, he tore it.  He needs surgery and cant work.

My Mom is getting laid off at the end of the month.  She just got this awesome job with United Way, and they apparently love her there, but budget cuts forced them to "eliminate the position".  Merry Christmas, United Way.

I owe New York State $300.  Back in February, I apparently passed a school bus and recieved a ticket for it.  It was completely accidental, I would never in my life consciously do such a dirtbag thing.  But the judge didn't care; he stamped my ticket "Guilty" before the cop was even finished laying out the facts.  oh and the cop?  got some facts wrong.  oh well.

I smashed in my grille and displaced my headlights.  I was lucky enough to take part in a minor fender-bender friday night on the LIE service road.  There was a detour and the two cars ahead of me slammed on their brakes, the road was wet, I was distracted, and I couldn't stop in time.  Thank God, the car ahead of me was a jeep also and the high bumper absorbed the impact fully.  The woman was nice and let me go.  My front end looks like a trash-talker after a bar fight.

I dont have $300.  Did I mention said car stalls?  needs an alignment?  needs a back wiper?  I don't have money for these things.  I don't have money for a winter coat, or more importantly, Passion '07 that I so desperately wanted to attend.  Merry Christmas, New York State.

Needless to say, I'm in a terrible place.  Thanks for reading.  Prayer would be much appreciated.  Goodnight.

  • I have a supreme talent for holding back what needs to be said.

    for holding everything inside, always.

for missing moments and not taking chances.

    for staying safe, and unhappy.
